Finalmente o serviço de transporte de carro denominado Uber chega a São Luís. Mas antes mesmo de sua chegada, já gerava polêmicas ainda no ano passado quando a ex-vereadora Luciana Mendes (PP) entrou com um projeto para proibir o aplicativo na capital.
Talvez por isto a ex-parlamentar não foi reeleita. O anseio da população pelo transportes é grande. Nas redes sociais é o assunto mais comentado e aclamado por internautas que já experimentaram o serviços em outras capitais brasileiras.
Mas o novo meio de transporte ainda vai gerar muitas polêmicas. Os taxistas de São Luís negaram paralisação, mas afirmaram que irão tentar barrar o Uber de alguma forma. O serviço continua a dividir opiniões.
